I'm starting a new BG1 game and did the following mods [I mostly prefer fixes and perfections over true mods and that's mostly what these are.]:
Install BG1 - 3CD version Baldurdash FixPack v1.1 Dudleyville Individual FixPacks Dudleyville Tweak (Improved Centeol) Dudleyville Tweak (Maximum Hit Points) Dudleyville Alpha 1.0 (No More Lightning Bolt Suicide) BG1 Unfinished Business v4 My tweaks (not sure if these are exact file names - not at my computer): Fixed the XPLEVEL.2DA file (Cleric L10 was broke) Maxed the XPCAP.2DA file to 501000 (allowing Cleric to get a couple of L5 spells - my main objective in bumping this up.) Now to the question: Using Near Infinity, it found that the THALAN.DLG dialog file was fairly miffed up compared to all the others! I know the Dudley Lighting modifies the THALAN.CRE (Thalantyr in High Hedge), but what about that dialog? I think it's beyond me to figure out how to fix it. You're not going to find a whole lot of modders here. Ask your ? at this site...

That being said, I started play of BG1UBv2 awhile back, and I can tell you that Thalantyr's dialog is modded to respond to certain quest items found in certain mines. Is that what you're asking? I myself am waiting for BG1UB to be compatible with EasyTuTu, so I can play a wild mage all the way thru!!! |
