Everyone is talking about, where's the new artwork, and wheres some good tutorial's, and art, graphics, and stuff...
But where can you download the finished products that so many people seem to be working on???? The only one I could find was "lastdays". Which was more of an interactive detective novel than an rpg dungeon crawl. Making my own is fine and dandy but before I go through all of that work. I want to see some quality modules that other people have made to help inspire me. |
I have started a conversion of a Realm Module, but without magic its not possible to make cool modules for DC.
So i am waiting for a version of DC with working magic. I think the other people have the same problem. |
I'm having the same problem. Without magic it is a little difficult to turn out a design that you can call 'finished'.
This isn't a reflection on CoCoaSpud, BTW. I couldn't have written DC and I know that it must be a hard slog for him sometimes. We are just going to have to be patient (and reasonable) about this. |
The current lack of magic doesn't bother me, as I'm thinking more along the lines of "contemporary day" currently, or sci-fi (where, admittedly, magic could be used or useful for sci-fi tricks/abilities).
I wonder if this sucker could be converted to SDL. I'd *love* to see UAF/DungeonCraft working with Linux! |
You should check our 'Game Design' area on the site, I'll watching everywhere for a release using the DC Engine. I think that Hari on the UAF Mailing list made a small design, I'll get it up this week for you guys to download.
I am working on a Sequel to Pools of Darkness, but it's HUGE, so it'll be a while until it's complete. |
More releases using DC? Nice! Something to play with/learn from.
