I wanted to add Edwin so I went to kill the witch. When I got there to kill her Kivan killed Edwin and started on my party, is this normal? I play it like life if they die they stay dead (more of a challenge) now Imoen is gone Khalid has passed Kivan bit the dust Edwin is worm food and Dynaheir is taking a dirt nap. I am running out of NPC's. I lost 4 possible party members on that quest due to the fact that Minsc is unable to save her now. Can somebody help me on this?

Did he leave your party (did his circle become red or blue, or is it still green)? Did he initiate any dialogue?

Yeah he said I will not let us kill Dynaheir and he sided with her and his circle turned red and he killed Edwin, then I killed him cuz he turned on the rest of the party.

Then there is nothing you can do, and it was supposed to happen. You could have killed Dynaheir when Kivan was dead, and then raised Kivan afterwards to avoid any problems, but it seems to be too late for that.

I was aware of that...I was just giving a possible way to get around the problem ;)

btw, would it work if you simply keep kivan very far away when you attack dynaheir?

I'm not sure, but if Kivan is far out of sight then it should work.

Yep. Works with any NPC. If they can't see what is taking place, they can't interfere :D
