Torchwood

I have just had the pleasure of watching the first episode and I just have to rave about it. For fans of the new Dr Who this is a must but I think that this series will suck in a far bigger audience in time.

Torchwood is a spin off from the new Dr who series, staring the American character who 'died' during the Second World War episodes. It is designed for a more adult audience; sort of a sexy X-files / CSI but with humour instead of ultra cool suits and shades. It is set in Cardiff and has lovely (but understandable) Welsh accents. Like all British sci-fi the monsters are so crap / camp but the realness of the characters more than makes up for it.

Try it you will love it

I agree it's a great show. I've seen most of the epps. I guess I was expecting Captin Jack to be the main person, but it seemed to be (I've forgotten her name) the female police officer.

I hope there will be a second season.

P.S It was good to see Jack coming back to Doctor Who
