<font face="Verdana" size="3" color="#009999">This was only one season, about 12 episodes. It is set around 400 years after Christ in the UK. Back than it was my favorite TV show, and I watched the first episode yesterday as my sister sent me the series as a gift. It still has the same magic as it did back then. One of my favorite characters in that series is the Roman Centurion, who had driven the spear into Christ and is cursed with not being able to die, he is over 400 years old.</font>

Yeah, it was not bad. For a while it was a hot item for trading since it had the still-unknown Heath Ledger as the star. Also a wicked-hot Keri Russel.

And yeah, Longinus was the best!

I vaguely remember this show, I know I wasn't that old when it first came on and I didn't have a clue who Heath Ledger was, but I was already very into anything that dealt with medieval or fantasy. I know that the Sci-Fi channel plays reruns, or they used to. But does anyone know when the show first came on air?
