Marvel Comics producing this film basically on their own because they wanted more control. Iron Man is the biggest superhero left who doesn't have a film franchise yet. I wonder what the story for this will be.

I get a very wierd vibe in that interview...
But I'm quite happy they're making an Iron Man movie! Cage would really be perfect for the role, methinks. |

To me it sounds promising that the guy is looking for an ''unknown'' I think its an endearing quality for a director. 'Iron man, Iron man does whatever an Iron can' |
I don't see Cruise in that role. He's too young to play Tony Stark IMO. And Nick Cage just finished filming Ghost Rider, due out Feb '07. I like the idea of an unknown. If the movie's good, it'll make him a star, and if it's bad, putting a big name in the suit probably won't help much anyway.

Nice, Ironman was one of my favorites and I'm looking forward to seeing him on the big screen.

War Machine!

Oh, yeah, one thing... He said that Iron Man is the last famous hero without a movie franchise... So that got me thinking... Who here would like a Lobo movie franchise?
*raises both hands and shakes them and screams in excitement like a girl* |
SO happy that Cruise will not be the star. I may have to go see it then.
