<font color=lightgreen>Beowolf (2007)

Starring
Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn, Ray Winstone, Brendan Gleeson, John Malkovich, Angelina Jolie, Crispin Glover, Alison Lohman

Notes: CGI driven, it appears. I hope this don't turn out like Angelina's last historical movie, Alexander. She should stay in action/comedies like Mr. & Mrs. Smith. She rocked in that movie.

================================================== =============================

Aeon Flux (Dec. 2, 2005)

Starring
Charlize Theron, Marton Csokas, Jonny Lee Miller, Sophie Okonedo, Pete Postlethwaite, Amelia Warner, Caroline Chikezie, Frances McDormand

Notes: Do I remember correctly in my teens, watching MTV late at night and seeing their hour-long anime program of several short flicks...and Aeon Flux was one of them? Is that where I remember this from? Hey guys...don't forget to look at all the sample pictures of the film. Charlize is hotter than hell in this film.

================================================== =============================

Indiana Jones 4, (2006)

Starring
Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Karen Allen, Kate Capshaw, Calista Flockhart (rumored), Colin Hanks (rumored), John Rhys-Davies (rumored)

Notes: The script has been approved by Lucas and Spielberg. Is this movie the final one, or will they play them to death like the 007 series?

================================================== =============================

Pride & Prejudice (Nov. 18, 2005)

Keira Knightly, Jena Malone, Brenda Blethyn, Rosamund Pike, Matthew Macfadyen, Donald Sutherland, Judi Dench, Penelope Wilton, Simon Woods, Tom Hollender

Notes: Well, they have remade this Jane Austin story over and over in Hollywood, and they are still at it. This is like the fifth version, I think. A new release sits at Blockbuster right now called "Bride & Prejudice". I know my wife cannot get tired of it, however, so I'll end up having to see it too. Chick flicks. Comes mandatory to keeping a marriage pleasant. At least I can watch it with Star Wars in mind, thanks to Keira.</font>

<font color=skyblue>This is all that catches my attention at the moment. Feel free to post others if I left a good one out that has not yet made media attention. </font>

Keira Knightly was in Star Wars?

::eagerly awaits Beowulf::

That Aeon Flux movie looks really odd. What's it even about?
Indy 4, eh? I'm not expecting much.

Did the transformers movie come out yet? Or is that going to be awhile. I really never noticed if it did.

Sir Degrader 08-19-2005 03:01 PM

Why do all these movies look like teh suck?

Link 08-19-2005 06:51 PM

Keira Knightley was in Star Wars, yes, but in an obscure role at that. She played one of Natalie Portman's handmaidens.

Larry_OHF 08-19-2005 09:21 PM

<font color=skyblue>Okay y'all...I guess I should have used Keira Knightly's role in Pirates of the Carribean in my post. Sorry! </font>

krunchyfrogg 08-19-2005 11:06 PM

I never noticed her in Star Wars. I guess there is some reason to watch Episodes I->III now.

Link 08-20-2005 06:28 AM

Then your wordings were unintentionally right after all, Larry ;)

<font color = lightgreen>Yes, Aeon Flux used to be part of MTV's Liquid TV; this was just before MTV plunged into the abyss of pitifulness. MTV has been a waste of air time since probably 1993. Anyway....

No, they won't pound Indiana Jones into the ground like they did James Bond. The only way to perpetuate the movies would be to have Indiana have a son (which may or may not be in the plot--who knows?). This, of course, makes us ask "who could play Indy's son?". Go watch the Mummy again--Brendan Fraser would be good in the role. I must admit though...they really should have done Indy IV 10 years ago.</font>
