Hey, sort of off topic here but do you happen to know if Salvatore's Cleric Quintet gets any better after the first book? I didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as the Icewind Dale or Dark Elf trilogies.

I loved the Cleric Quintet, and yes...it gets better as you go. I believe I read the last book like I was starving for it.

I loved the CQ as well, but the first book was a bit sluggish. We ofcourse all want Cadderly to get his powers right away. ;)

He will be good from end of book 2 though.

Ah, midnight mask is coming in november... I'll have to reread he first 2 again before it comes out, have almost forgotten them, except how good they were...

What ever happened to Paul? He was (and still is, I presume) a member here, right?

Ziroc 07-14-2005 02:05 PM

Yep, he checks in from time to time. He's been busy on this third book. (Which should be killer!)

BTW, Richard Lee Byers lives 12 miles from me
