I am halfway finished with the book and I must say it is amazing. This book has stirred feelings I have not felt before and made me look at life at a new perspective.

I read that in my Race and Ethnic Relations in the US anthropology class. It's an interesting read, especially since I wasn't alive to witness his impact on race relations.

I only wish he had written it directly...I don't doubt his voluminous input, but it was written through Alex Haley I believe. I can only say: read on.
