Roger Waters has been allowing people to download these two fantastic songs. Of course, they are politically aimed towards anti-bush, but they are in my perspective, some of the most wonderful pieces ever written. You should really listen to them, although one song is about 13 min long. And if you don't care for listening, at least read the lyrics, because they are well worth it.

It reminds me of the Omelas thought experiment in professional ethics... you know, the perfect society that can only exist if a child is kept locked up and beaten in a basement. The test was to see who, upon learning of the way things were, would walk away, who would stay, and who would actually act to change things.
