I've heard this theory a few times (in <u>Canadian Bacon</u>, for one), and have idly pondered its "Truth vs. Urban Myth" ratio. So let's do a quasi-scientific poll: Everybody submits a movie!

Include: The name of the film, the year it was released (this will help if I decide to tally the results year-by-year), and the race of the first person to die (within a reasonable doubt) in the movie. Try to include a brief summary of other (racial) information you think would benefit this study as well.

Please try to stick to English-language films only. For example, adding in lots of Hong Kong action films would really skew the data with a bunch of movies in which the chance of *any* black guy dying is slim to none.

It's only fitting I should start this off.

Title: The Gods Must Be Crazy

Race of first 'Dier:' Black (In fact, three blacks.)
Additional Circumstances: The scene in question involves a gang of terrorists bursting into a Cabinet meeting and spraying the room with gunfire. Since the Cabinet in question is that of a ficticious African country, the fact that the entire governing body (as well as the terrorists) would be black is pretty much a foregone conclusion.

Any blacks die: No

WRONG!! What else is 'The Bonnie Situation' for except cleaning the pieces of a black man from the car after he has been shot (incidentally). :rolleyes:
