Ok I am trying to make a CD of Anti-Love music, basically songs that take the average love songs and sing about the complete opposite. I am already considering
"I'm not in love" - 10CC "...Not Forever" - Tsunami Bomb "Love Hurts" - Nazareth As well as a few Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds songs. I am generally after songs that I can hear most of the lyrics and am avoiding crap like Eminem and Dr Dre etc. Any suggestions are appreciated |
How about....
- Type-O-Negative - Unsuccessfully Coping With The Natural Beauty Of Infidelity* - Tenacious D - **** Her Gently - Skunk Anansie - Anti Love Song - Kelis - Caught Out There (I hate you so much right now) - Guns N Roses - I Used To Love Her - Guns N Roses - Back Off Bitch - Rammstein - Klavier - Rammstein - Du Hast * (aka I Know You're ****** Someone Else) [ 05-28-2004, 08:30 AM: Message edited by: Melusine ] |
how about love stinks from the Wedding Singer soundtrack :D

Song for the Dumped - Ben Folds Five
So you wanted to take a break, slow it down some and have some space, well **** you too! Also you could try the Restraining Order Blues by the Eels. Its a hard song to pin down really so I don't know if its entirely appropriate, but any song containing the following lyric is pretty twisted: Everybody knows that I'm not a violent man, just someone who knows he's in love. :D |
Ill Nino - All the right words, don't know if it's exactly what you search but I think I saw some lyrically similar songs
|
Bodies - Smashing Pumpkins (Love is Suuuicide!)
|
Ok will check out some of those songs, thanks guys.

Anything by Vision of Disorder, but especially the song Pretty Hate.
Whenever females are pissing me off, I crank that shit up Ps: I forgot to mention Pantera's 'This Love' from the album 'Vulgar Display of Power'! Exquisite song! It'll get you over that no-good hussy in no time! :D [ 05-29-2004, 04:45 AM: Message edited by: The Hierophant ] |
How about
'Hello' by Evanescence But you already have their album anyways You should put it on your anti-love CD as well though. |
Dunno what genre you want, but you could try "Okay" by Swirl 360
