Hey, I was wondering if anyone out there had heard of/enjoyed/depised Nellie McKay...I personally think she's AWESOME, and I feel that the girl needs more publicity, because she's a heck of a lot more talented than most other females in the music industry today...even if her lyrics lean pretty far to the vicious side...

What's a Nellie McKay?

She's a nineteen year old obscure musician, with tons of talent and a propensity for bitterness that makes he music utterly amusing...though undefinable...some of it sounds like rap, some like pop, some like lounge jazz, some like r&b....

Who is NO LONGER OBSCURE...she's definitley on the rise, now...I'm seeing her record "Get Away From Me" more places now, not just the big places...yay...now more people will experience the joy of her burning sarcasm, and her hatred of men, women, rich people, apathetic people, and the meaninglessness of existence!

Not to mention she's like the finest Alto I've heard in the music industry in a VERY long time...
