Im reading the book, Shadowdale... Book 1 of the Avatar Series, and it describes Lord Bane as the god of murder. Now after playing Baldurs Gate I would think Bhaal is the god of murder...so whats the deal here? I thought Bane was god of strife.

IIRC: Lord Bane was first God of Murder. Bhaal was the second and Cyric who killed Bhaal was the Third.
