I've been watching bad movies lately, and I've simply fallen in love with them. It all started with Bruce Campbell vs. The Army of Darkness (or just Army of Darkness), which was instantly catapulted to the top of my list of movies, regardless the TERRIBLE cinematography, acting on most of their parts (except Bruce Campbell), bad special effects, and the never ending shotgun blasts. Then I watched "Freddie versus Jason," and it was AWFUL! And yet hilarious. Today, I purchased a movie called "Plan 9 from Outer Space," and it's just BAD, and yet, even though it was picked as one of the worst movies of all time (some think THE worst) I find myself wanting to watch it over and over and over again.

Anyone else want to recommend a bad movie, or comment on those I mentioned?
oh, and btw, for a brief exposure to the witty lines of Plan 9, see my sig...

Sounds like somebody needs to watch some Mystery Science Theater 3000 movies! :D

An old bad movie is Ninja 3: The Domination.

Thanks for the suggestion, Six! I forgot about those, being a relative youngun'...
Never heard of Ninja 3...what's so bad about it? And will I want to shoot myself over it like I did Tales from the Gimli Hospital? Seriously, don't watch any movie that comes out of Winnipeg! Guy Maddin is a true psycho!

I watched the Plan 9 From Outer Space, and my reaction to it was the same: hideously bad movie, wanna see it again ASAP.
Try watching Mortal Kombat 3 and 4. :D

Not that I'm suggesting you do, but if you have a fast Internet connection speed and WinMX or KaZaA Lite, you can download dozens of MST3Ks. You want bad movies? MST3K is the place to start. Though if you come across a movie called Robot Monster, 1950s, non-MST3K, you might want to give it a watch. It's bad. Really bad.

(Six: Have you seen Quest of the Delta Knights yet? ;) )

Starship Troopers - the only film I've seen where space ships get attacked by "random light". Its hilarious, and I keep needing to watch more of it...

Sadly, no--I haven't even seen it around for rental. But I've seen "Cave Dwellers," "The Brain the Wouldn't Die," "The Gunslinger," Episode II: Attack of the Clones," "Mitchell," and of course MST3K: The Movie.

If you're into good "bad" movies, may I suggest watching Big Trouble in Little China? Kurt Russell's one-liners are classic, plus there's lots of goofy ninjas!

Or Hudson Hawk That one's a classic!
