That's not even good as a joke.

Yea... the removal of Saruman from RotK is another effect of the greater flaw... the removal of the Scouring of the Shire from the movies. I was hoping it might be in the extended version DVD but that article dashes those hopes too. :(

lets unite, take all Jacksons money and make our own LotR movies!
|
Hey! Don`t play with people`s lives. Some of us can get a heart attack you know! :D

Yup already knew about it. They had an Interview with Lee on the radio here and he was surprised, but not shocked. He said that he was told it would be in the Extened DVD. Personally I think it was a bad call on Jacksons part. I know I won't feel the movies are complete without the confrontation between Gandalf and Saruman.

Great, so now their going to nerf the theatrical version. Kind of hard to show the Ents marching all around trashing Saruman's works and not show anything about Saruman himself. What a bummer! :(
|
Well I can't wait to see how PJ explains how Gandalf suddenly has the Palantír in the ROTK... if they never actually met.
|
Wait so they are going to show the fall of orthanc but not Sauruman's death?
Anyway i read in another thread that Sauruman dies in the Shire but I thought he died in Orthanc by the falling orb that he summoned....or is that how Grima died? But even if it was Grima that was killed in Orthanc, in what i read it said that Grima killed Saruman. I havent read the Scourning of the Shire yet because I promised I would not read RotK untill after the movie. DO NOT SPOIL ME JUST TELL ME IF I AM WRONG! |
