Any thoughts on the recent survivor? Anybody watching it? I like the burly bearded fellow who stole the other tribes stuff on the first day. Now thats living like a pirate! :D

I'm with you, Chewbacca. Rupert fast became one of my favorite all-time Survivor characters. And I'm glad to see he's still strumming along...

I like the treasure chest add-in. Gives some additional weight to those reward challenges...

And the ability to steal something from the other camp... priceless! Although I suspect that person is cutting their own throat for later on, after the merge... it would make sense to me that the same person be sent every time.

And I was amazed to see Rupert's tribe winning again and again. The other guys have got to be completely demoralized, to the point where if they don't win something next week, there may need to be something to shake things up a bit.

Yeah, Ruperts his name, I forgot! His tribe has the momentum for sure, though I think taking the tarp could comeback to haunt them, payback can be a crying game!

That's a good idea, sending the same person, making them a focal point for the bitterness.

Its a good season so far I think, just gotta see how it develops from now, but it got a strong start IMO.

I'm wondering if Rupert's tribe will throw the immunity challenge so they can get rid of someone. They sort of alluded to that fact on the previews. Should be interesting tonight!

I don't think any tribe would throw an immunity challenge. Too much is at stake. Would you want to give the other guys a hint that they might have turned the corner? Or would you want a nice bunch of docile sheep when it came time for the merge?

I know which way I'd go...

Checked the CBS survivor page, and tonight promises two lost survivors, an unburied treasure (so I think we know who wins the reward), and someone making a drunken spectacle of themselves at tribal council.

Hmmm... Kind of spells things out, doesn't it?
