I have just about finished the last book of this trilogy and I would say it's possibly the best set of books I've ever read. I've read about four or five other Forgotten Realms books and some Dragonlance ones with Raistlin and co. The Archwizards series is definately the best IMHO. I also just read The Temple of Elemental Evil since the game will be coming out soon. It was a good book too, but not even in the same ballpark as any in the trilogy I mentioned. Just thought I'd pass this along in case someone is looking for a good set of books to get into.

Troy Denning is one of the better writers,,,and I particularly enjoy any book of his with the bias that I know it's a superior story.

Elaine Cunningham can be expected to deliver the same level of ability as well.

Are there any Cunningham books you would recommend? If she's as good as Denning I will have to read some of her work.
