Having no cable/Rupert Murdoch enricher, I taped the BBC 2 unedited version of the latest Buffy episode. It's the one where Willow goes postal after Warren shoots Tara. Absolutely fantasitc TV. From Alison Hannigan's portrayal of heartbreaking loss to the transformation into someone in total revenge mode it was a triumph. Never have the phrases "That's better" and "Bored now" sounded better.

Buffy is suppose to be dead. But they resurrect her again in the new season. I really didn't like that. I was hoping someone else can be the new vampire slayer.

You have a few seasons left! My boyfriend is in mourning now that we are down to the last episode next week. He is actually depressed!

What? just how many seasons does Buffy The Vampire Slayers have? I really lose count.

I was a bit disappointed by the Season's Finale.
It was cheesy, over-the-top, way too much "mystic" powers handed on a plate which suddenly made them win (feels a bit like a cop-out, like happened with the Season Finale involving Adam, when they miraculously stumbled upon a very powerful spell to defeat him ) and way too short and unrealistic (even to the standards of the "Buffy universe", I mean ;) ). It has been that way the entire season, more or less, though; as if they can smell the stable and just rush through the last couple of episodes, and not minding quality and credibility all that much anymore. Caleb and Andrew were cool, though. [img]smile.gif[/img]
A bit of a letdown, on the whole. Maybe it's for the best they're quitting with Buffy completely now; they seem to be running out of ideas, and there's only so much "Ultimate Evil, Even More Ultimate Than The One From Last Season" you could get away with. ;)
I still think the first few seasons were great, but I actually think the show already started going downhill around the time the Angel spin-off started; season 4 had its novelty value but wasn't all that interesting, season 5 came dangerously close to frellin' Dawson's Creek and season 7... Well, see above. I really liked season 6, though, with the nerd-gang and Willow turning bad and all. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well I for one liked the finale, and the solution did sort of have some logic behind it. I don't like the fact that I am going to miss the witty reparte and will definatley miss Xander and Willow...Buffy...well I was never a big big fan of SMG. If I had my druthers, there would be a spin off for Xander and Willow to follow through on. Running out of plots doesn't indicate bad characters, just unimaginative writers [img]smile.gif[/img] I did think season 5 was a bit of a drag but still enjoyed the show, Season 6 was a big pick up...and Season 7 in my mind, kept me guessing and speculating and had some really great scooby gang banter [img]smile.gif[/img] </font>
