Sometime next week I'm going to purchase the box set of NGE and was wondering whether I should also purchase End of Evangelion and/or Death and Rebirth. I've heard that EoE is pretty good but haven't heard much about DaR except that it features un-edited cuts from the series. Any opinions?

if you liked the direction the series was going in with regards to philosophy and story then youll probably like those.
it is very different from the series tho
