If I let Islanne transport me out of level 4 (the level after the chess game), will I be able to get back in? I have lots of "goodies" (read: loot!) that I would like to take out and sell, but I tried that once and seemed to have problems getting the doors opened again after going down the well from the warders' level. Has anyone transported out and then come back in? Would appreciate some clues here.

You can use Islanne to transport out and get back in. Once you get past the warders' well, Go down the door opposite the stairs and click on the statue north of the rug. That will open the door north of the stairs. Go in that room and hit the sparring dummy on the far right. That will open the door east of the stairs which leads back down (eventually).

Thanks for the response. Since I wasn't sure, I just finished up everything before transporting out and sorted the loot real carefully to get everyone carrying as much as possible (amazing how much they can handle if you plan carefully). Next time through, I will try taking a break and returning again later.
