The early reviews I've read are looking pretty good. In particular one reviewer (Moriarty on Ain't it cool news) give it a very good review. I've found his reviews to be pretty spot on in the past.

I think I'd have preferred them making this film WITHOUT the cheesy love interest and Ben Afleck as Daredevil...

The clips I've seen show the 'strong woman character' (STEREOTYPE!!) getting into a ridiculous attraction/danger relationship with Daredevil... I mean ffs, why taunt a blind guy?

But then again, I was one of those sad people who actually enjoyed the original movie many years ago...

Ahh well...

AND - Why is the KINGPIN BLACK in this movie? ffs!!! I mean in all the comic books I have ever read, he is white. All of a sudden, the movie bad guy becomes black??? Wtf is going on with this crap!

Dunno what to think actually.. I saw the trailer, which wasn't too bad, I guess. Am waiting for X2 though, cos I really liked X-men [img]smile.gif[/img]

You could probably say much the same thing about 'Spiderman'. And 'X-Men'. Its the Hollywood twist that makes it somewhat unique. ;)

I'm not sure, but I think the 'strong woman stereotype' is supposed to be Elektra the assassin.

Is it me, or does it look very generic? His red leather costume looks cheap and very corny. I won't be going to see it. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I always thought DD's costume looked cheap and a little corny, but I'll probably end up seeing it anyway.
