I killed that wizard guy, Lendard or something, in the secret area in Gullykin. I had to leave the area to get healed though, and when i came back, his body was gone...did he have any good crap on him ?? And also, how can i cant get through that area w/ all those kobold commandoes, how is it done?

Well about the frist question, its been a while since i played Bg1 for the last time but i think he only had a robe (knave or adventurers or something like this), a lightning scroll and maybe a wand.

About the kobolds, just equip your best fighter (preferably proficient in bows or crossbows) with the boots of avoidance and any other anti missile stuff you might have (cloak of displacement, claw of kazgaroth, a big shield) and kill all the kobolds with him. Its the way i usually did it and it worked for me. Dont forget that the more you get killed and reload, more monsters will appear so do it carefully and it wont be that hard. If its still difficult, use this antimissile dude to explore, and use the rest of the party to support with ranged weapons from the back.

I seem to remembet lots of fire balls and using their own fire arroes against them. I didn't know about that increasing monster bit after reloading though. I though it was a random generator
