Director: Martin Scorcese.
Actors: Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci.
I saw it just yesterday. Great movie! Very similar to The Blow(With Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz). Joe Pesci played very well("What do you mean im funny!? ")

Goodfellas is a good movie(get it, "good" movie?) but it came out way before Blow and its cooler, just because of all the gangsta issues.

Yeah, absolutely a great movie, i have it in my collection. USS, if you liked that one you should also check out Casino, also with Joe Pesci and Robert de Niro, also in Mafia style.

For a *killer* of a gangster movie, check out Johnny Depp and Al Pacino in DONNIE BRASCO - which is based on a true story. Awesome.

Good Fellas is one of my favorite gangster movies of all time, its right up there with Donnie Brasco which someone already mentioned, and Casino also a good one Joe Pesci did a wonderful job at his part, and you can't forget the God Father a classic and if anyone hasn't seen it or any of the other ones i mentioned then they are missing out. (plus theres also ScarFace) and many more.

Great movie, another about the same story was "The Big Hiest" another must see. It's pretty cool to see a somewhat different perspective of the same characters and storyline. Here's a review of it.

The 1978 Lufthansa heist at New York City's JFK airport was one of the most daring robberies in history. The thieves escaped with $8 million, and the job entered the annals of crime alongside the Great Train Robbery and the Brinks Heist.

Based on the book of the same name by Ernest Volkman and John Cummingswil, THE BIG HEIST tells how the FBI, the NYPD and the Nassau County Police Department worked together to bring down the dapper gangster "Irish" Jimmy Burke, the mastermind behind the crime, who is also believed to be responsible for the disappearance of several of his cohorts. In this A&E Original Movie, Burke is played to perfection by Donald Sutherland (M*A*S*H, Ordinary People), while veteran director Robert Markowitz (The Great Gatsby, Tuskegee Airmen) keeps the fascinating story moving.

THE BIG HEIST shows how the best-laid plans of criminals and cops can go wildly awry when fortunes are at stake.
