What DVD movie do you think is best to buy this days it can be whatever sone? I like the most i think!

Hi Megabot! You've come to the right place. The problem is that all the DVDs over here are Region 4, which is probably different to the region you are in. Nonetheless, the best DVDs that I own are (not necessarily the best movies):

Fight Club
Final Fantasy
The Abyss
The Matrix
The Phantom Menace
Terminator
Braveheart
A.I.
Gladiator
The Thing
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Castaway
Men In Black
12 Monkeys

All of these are the collectors or special editions and have tons of extra features. Most of them come on two DVDs. I refuse to buy DVDs that don't have extra features these days, because they are sure to release the movie again with them within a short period of time.

hmm, is AI any good? or anyof the others? I have Gladatior on DVD, C T H D, The Matrix, and a few others. which ones would u recormend Ben? ;) (btw, u should put some stuff in ur sig ;) )

The Trickster 09-28-2002 10:51 AM

Yeah, I'm going to put some stuff in my sig when I think of something witty to write. That could take some time.

I love all of the above movies, but I know that you're not into horror films. I'd probably suggest you watch AI before purchasing as people either love it or hate it.

There all good though!

If I were you, I wouldn't get the DVD-version of LotR before in November. The November-release had four CDs, whitchof three are extra material. ;)

I'm gonna wait til return of the king comes out. I'm betting that there's gonna be a big set of LotR with a crapload of extra features.
My favorites are Simpsons, seasons 1&2 and X-Files, seasons 1-5 :D
And who can forget Monty Python: The Complete Set

Hey True_Moose, I've got X-Files seasons 1-3 and will be purchasing 4 soon enough. It's great to meet another fan. The truth is out there you know! :D
