Bourne ID...

anyone seen it? I did, and to be honest, I didnt like it. It was a good movie, but now I think about, the storyline was useless, not meaning to offend any americans here, but it was you're typical "shoot first, ask questions later"... it really pissed me off... it was a good film otherwise, but it was a bit brutal for a 12 imo. worth seeing at least once :D anyone else seen it?

It was an entertaining film, good acting and action sequences but but the problem with the film in a closer inspection is that it has all really been done before. You've got the assassin on the run from his former employees and he tags along with a woman whom he just met who eventually becomes his love interest. Julia Stiles role was pretty redundant as well.

tru. I still think its a little brutal for a 12. lol, when he takes that pen and starts stabbing the other guy... *ouch* and all that elbowing and kneeing... kinda nasty lol, no, it WAS a good film... but I dont understand WHY the guys "employers" didnt send an agent to TALK to him... its soooo stupid. do you REALLY hunt down one of you're own guys without finding out WHY hes acting the way he is? how much did he cost em?? 30 mil or something stupid? and they try to take him out?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM?! you try and RECOVER you're resources surely... that was what REALLY annoyed me.

and IF they had all the resorces, they COULD have stopped this guy IF they had worked together... its just too abusrd for words.

what do you mean by a 12?

Calaethis Dragonsbane 09-13-2002 07:11 AM

12...? the age rating... "you have to be 12 or older to view this movie" kinda thing :

IIRC, Ludlum originally wrote this novel in the 80s. It wasn't quite so redundant then. I liked it - quite entertaining.

Oh, and PS - I find that Julia Stiles is never ever redundant.

Never heard of that one. When did it come out?
