Those books are VERY good! I can't wait for the next one to come out! It is one of the best series ever, and it get better in each book.

yeah, look for some Aurthurian mythology and you'll find alot in there (esp in names, ie Artur Hawkwing, Egwene (Gwenevere), galad, and galahad, and many of the other names are twists put on the heros from Aurthurian legends, a fair amount of other items as well, which I won't mention so as not to spoil, But yes they are very good books, and I'm eagerly anticipating the new one in november

Ooooh, the opening scene of book two rules!!!! That's how I started the series1

I guess there's no need for me to tell you what I think of the series.

Can't wait for book 10!

I loved the first five or so books of the series. Each one kept me reading intently until the last page. The last four books have fallen from that level. They focus a great deal on the female characters, who do very little for hundreds and hundreds of pages. I'm still following the series, but it is no longer one that I get excited at the release of each book. Plus, the wait for the paperbacks to be released gets longer with each book (it seems). I refuse to buy hard cover books (although paperbacks will soon cost $10 each, so I might as well).

I liked the 4 last book the most.

Yeah I've read the first 9 books and even a book called "The World of the wheel of time" co-written by Robert Jordan and another author. It gives great insight to the world and I would advise you guys waiting for vol. 10 to read it.

I loved the first 2 or 3 books but after a while I kept looking for an ending to the story and could see none in sight. Also I had a hell of a time keeping up with all the charactors,I must be getting old but I had to keep going back to look up who was who etc.Other than that the 4 or 5 I did read were realy good. Also loved all of David Eddings books and R.A.Salvatores'.
