I first saw this movie a few years ago, and have seen the second and third parts as well. The first is the best (usually the case) but the others are not bad and do serve to complete the story arc.
Basically, there is war in heaven, as the Archangel Gabriel has decided that he is tired of God "putting humans before angels". He feels that humans ("monkeys") aren't so hot and has convinced a number of his fellow angels to side with him.
It's pretty cool (and has Christopher Walken-- 'nuff said) and is written by the guy who wrote the original Highlander (there are one or two similarities, actually...) I thought it was a good series and figured that anyone here who doesn't know about it might want to check it out.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the first one! I think Christopher Walken is great in it too. Unfortunately number two was not as good, and number three was utterly terrible.

But the angels sure were cool in number one!

Well, I thought 2 was okay, but number three was good (in my mind) simply because it served as a wrap-up to the whole story.
