That one is a toughie for me. I grew up with the original series, and while they don't compare by todays standards, the original caste is probably still my favorite for sentimental reasons. This doesn't mean that I don't appreciate later roles and the characters portraying them.

In TOS (The Original Series), the best would be Dr. Mcoy or Spock, in TNG (The Next Generation), the best would be Data, in DS9 (Deep Space Nine), the best would be Odo, in VOY (Voyager) the best would be Neelix, in Enterprise....no favorite. They are all pretty dull in Enterprise.
