I've just had an experience! What that experience means or what I will take away from that experience is yet to be seen.

For those of you who don't know about Mulholland Drive, it is a movie by David Lynch (director of Lost Highway and Twin Peaks). As in most of Lynch's films, you can expect to be confused, if not downright bewildered by what is occurring on screen before your eyes.
I won't even try to let out my interpretation of this piece of work, I think everyone should have their own opportunity to experience the journey.

What I will say, is that Mulholland Drive is held together by two absolutely stunning performances. Naomi Watts (Australian) has proven herself to be a star in the making with a performance that simply defies description, and Laura Harring is also quite astounding in her role.

Be aware that this film contains both violence and lesbian (not to mention masturbation) sex scenes, so is obviously not for all tastes.
I will also advise that people watch it at least twice, as on first viewing, much confusion will ensue.

See it, discuss it, experience it. 9 out of 10.

Avi.

PS : If anyone wants to discuss the movies meaning, please PM me. I'd like to hear other member's interpretations.

It's on DVD over here in Australia.
Here's a link

Notice that it's ranked number 94 movie of all time, so I'm not alone in my appraisal!
