After two weeks, I finaly finished the Dragonlance chronicles. Not the best series I ever read, but fun none the less. Anyway, I was wondering what books are next and how they compare to the first three in quality.

Now i would go back and read the series called "the meeting sextet" which talks about all the heroes meeting and their lives before the war. Then i would read "the Chaos War series" which is very good.

Dreamer, next up is the Dragonlance Legends Trilogy. Which details the continued adventures of Caramon and Raistlin. The books are: Time of the Twins, Test of the Twins and War of the twins. After that, get the book 'The Second Generation' which is about the children of the heroes. And after that get Dragons of Summer Flame.

I thought that the DragonLance Chronicles were extreamly well-done books. They are #2 on my all-favorite list.

If you plan to read the Legends Trilogy next, then you should first read The Raistlin Chronicles. The Soulforge, and Brothers in Arms. I recomend the books about Rastlin. Then after the Dragons of Summer Flame comes Dragons of a Fallen Sun. The first book of the War of Souls. And continue that series so-on, and so-forth. Other than the books on the twins, and the War of Souls, there are also several prequals. They arn't as good as the originals, (in fact almost none of the other books are as good as the originals) but they are good books. The ones written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hicman are ussually better.

Yes, there are a plethora of spin-off books but not all of them are good. I recommend those written by Douglas Niles, Richard Knaak and the team of Weis and Hickman and Weis and Perrin (especially the books about the Draconian Engineering Corps).
