Has anybody seen it? i just saw it and i can tell you that it`s the most cruel movie ive ever seen. Yeah, i know im under 18 and shouldn´t watch stuff like that but still it was a great Stanley Cubrik masterpiece. It`s like at first i thought the main guy is a bastard but later i felt kinda sorry for him.

I responded to this in my Jeepers Creepers review, before I saw this post Uss.

Hey, maybe we can go partners in being the IWF Movie Reviewers. What do you say? We could both give reviews on movies, and that way people can get a really good perception of what a movie is like. One review from an underage male Estonian, one from a 25 year old Australian chick!

You seem to be into similar movies to me (ie. Fight Club, Kubrick, Pi etc.)

What do you think?

Avi.

Although i loved the book tho Anthont Burgess described it as the worst of his work which i thinksweird cos it has a great humanistc aspect to it...

Loved the movie. You should try and read the book Uss.

Madman-Rogovich, lol, when i watched that "Singing in the Rain *kick*" scene once, it looked like horrible but when i saw it the second time, i was LAUGHING :D !
Maybe i will, Mel. Yesterday, i heard from my brother that the movie was unfinished. There were two diffirent versions of the "A Clockwork Orange" book. one was american, which was the same as the movie, the other one was the original thing, English, which went on from there. Alex marries, has children and stuff like that. Do you know anything about that?
And i also heard there is a Simpsons halloween episode where Bart dresses up as Alex. Which one is it!?

Melusine 07-06-2002 04:24 AM

Don't know about any American versions, but the book the movie is based on is A Clockwork Orange by British author Anthony Burgess. Much as I like the movie, the book is the real thing: absolutely brilliant. And yes, it ends like you describe it.
