I just watched wing commander for the first time, What a Dissapointment. One thing I liked about the games was the interactive movies, the story was great and they had some great actors playing the characters, Mark Hamill, John Rhys Davis and Malcolm MacDowell being some of the more famous actors. But when I saw the film i was gobsmacked that none of the original actors made an appearence all the characters were now played by different people and the story was horrible, and whats more surprising is that chris roberts the man who wrote designed and directed the games was also responsible for the movie, all I can say is WHAT WENT WRONG!?!?!?

Any one else think the movie sucked, or is it just me?

The Movie was nowhere as good as the games.
Hmm. I have heard of SOME of the actors.
David Suchet - does detective stuff
Jurgen prochnow - does generic bad guys
Safron burrows - does Sci-Fi and Period stuff.

But lets face it. The whole movie was just the attack on Pearl Harbour, Zapped into space.

it could'nt have been hard to write!
