Well I read a bunch of Enid Blyton a loooooooong time ago ;) Didn't think her books were popular any more!
|
I believe that I once read one of the famous 5 or secret 7 books a long time ago, after about 50 pages though I gave up in sheer disgust at the ludicrous "plot", it might have been called banshee castle or something like that.

Same as Mouse. Read a lot of Blyton a long time ago but haven't done for a while since. Good books for kids definately. I agree with Dramnek about reading them now though - I remember enough about them to know I wouldn't have much patience for them anymore. They are definately books for small children. But for them they are among the greatest I think personally.

I read pretty much everything by Roald Dahl when I was younger. I used to read a hell of a lot then though, so it is hardly surprising. I got through a book every week maybe, which isn't bad for someone in their early teens. But I can't do that now - too many computer games to play!
I am afraid I haven't heard of the other author though. Sorry. |
