Oooh, I haven't read any Agatha Christie for ages - I did about 15 years ago & really enjoyed it!

Do you like any film/TV adaptations, or find them annoying? I particularly liked Joan Hickson in that TV series of Miss Marple adaptations.

I have 65 of her books - I love Agatha! Man the British know how to murder people. Hercule Poirot is a lovable little fusspot, and Miss Marple is quite the engaging spinster. I also like Tommy and Tuppence.

At some point everyone should read a little Agatha Christie.

I can't even figure out how many of her books I've read. There's nothing like a nice, genteel homicide or two.

As to the movies, Joan Hickson was good as Miss Marple, but I really like the old Margaret Rutherford movies.

I prefer Hercule Poirot to Miss Marple somehow... I guess it's due to the description of his physical appearance as well as the way he carries himself.

But I kind of liked those with the young detective Bundle in them.
