I've just bought the LotR limited edition music CD from Amazon. Does anyone know the difference between the limited edition and the standard (apart from £8.00 or so)?

Ahh, not sure about that mate. But me be needin' a question to ask ye. Is the music any good? If you've played IWD, is it something like that?

I think its on par with Star Wars or Jurassic Park. (Two movies that in my opinion have wonderful scores.) It is kind of sorrowful though. Must be all that elvish influence.

It's IWD quality, that's for sure. Don't know the difference though. Maybe another track, maybe you got a little book or poster with it.

I bought the soundtrack at Target. It came with two character cards. Maybe that's what it is.

I've bought it and it had a LotR poster inside it. Maybe it is different through countries.

I think I've been ripped off! Apparently the only difference is that it comes in a very thin leather wallet. There's no sign of a poster.

Oh well, you live and learn. :(

Music-wise it doesn't seem to be too great, but that's probably because I haven't been to see the film yet. I'm going to see it tomorrow, so I'll let you know if my opinion changes.

*haaarr* Eh? A poster? What ye be talkin' about mates? A sountrack with a wallet and poster? How big is it? Or what exactly are ye gents talkin' about here? Because if it comes with a poster I want to get it!!! ;)

Love track twelve (when they enter Moria, and pan out to see the great hall). Has a majestic but somber tone to it. It kinda really makes you hate to see something that was once so grand abandoned.
