Has anybody else read the death stalker series - cannot remember the author cos i'm at work at the mo and his name escapes me. Just thought i'd chuck the name in the pot and see if anyone has any info on new ones.

do you mean the one by Simon R Green? I hear it has a similar feel to Star Wars but I haven't tried it. Can anyone give opinions on this as I'm just finishing my current batch of books and I'm on the lookout for what to read next?

Go for it I say, I have read a few and they are enjoyable romps. Also check out his "Hawk & Fisher" series.

I have read most of his books (and all of the deathstalker series).

They are the MOST VIOLENT books you can buy (great primer for going through TOB).

I loved them. They should be made into a television series on a premium channel willing to give a realistic depiction of gore (maybe showtime).
