Just thought I'd let anyone here who might be interested to know:

A friend of mine has been published by 1st Books Library.

His name is Jason A. Lewis and his first book is The Kavendrak Saga: Without Wings. It's Sci-Fi and very addictive. It's a great read and promises to be very interesting as he's getting his second book ready. (I'm his editor/proofreader now. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif)

It can be found at amazon.com and barnes&noble.com as it's Print On Demand (they print one when someone orders one). Those who like covers will be disappointed as they didn't use the one he made for it, but he's looking into finding a new publisher and re-releasing the first book. Don't let the cover put you off.

He's one of those writers who paint pictures with words, so check it out if it interests you. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Will it still be available in a few months ? 'Cause I've just made yesterday my big semestrial order at Amazon, and delivery costs are quite expensive for an order, so I would like to include your friend's book in my next order. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/uhoh2.gif

Yes, I'm sure it will be there until 1st Books and Jason recoup their initial investment, at least. So, please do purchase it. Several of us here at work have and have enjoyed it immensely. If you go to www.1stbooks.com they may still offer a downloadable version (an e-book) - no shipping! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif We all here ordered a hardcopy to get his autograph. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif Plus, I prefer my books printed.

Are you getting it from www.amazon.com? I know, delivery is VERY expensive. I get mine from www.amazon.de (Germany). As you live in Europe, I'd recommend it to you, it sells English books too but the site is in German. You can also visit www.amazon.co.uk (England). Delivery is a LOT lower than from the .com site (obviously)

Thanks Kaz, yes I know, I usually buy my English books either at Amazon UK or at W.H. Smith. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

I was just thinking, either Amazon.co.uk can get the book, or, well, I'll just have to go to Amazon.com for once ...
