Just doing a beta test of Level 15. I have some special areas roped off, so you won't see EVERYTHING, but nearly everything. (some plot stuff is in though.. an quests).

Just need to play balance these monsters... and check for bugs, errors and triple check faction play.

Er... 2:45. Need to update the server sign in the tavern.

Wish I could have stayed longer. I barely had time to scratch the surface.

It looks great and it was a surprise to find that not everything was hostile (perhaps that will change).

Nice to find that some old acquaintances seem to be stronger on this level. I waded in expecting things to be easy and found myself needing heal potions.

First impressions are that anyone going in there needs to heed your advice on weapon choice.

The only problem did find was that, like lvl 14, getting through doors needs some precise alignment.

Apologies to Laureline and Barclaya who I had to leave at short notice.

Yeah, you didn't see the whole picture--quests and why they are how they are (friendly).

They will attack when they see a threat to them--like the borg..

I ghosted you all as you played-found loads of tweaks needed and some bugs.

The 'good' treasure isn't there yet, some rooms are even unlinked.

I'll be closing this beta in a few hours, then it'll be closed again, and it will give me a day to fix the stuff, finish up and open it as non beta.

Slings are nice....

I was glad that the Patrolling Guardians weren't quite Borg-like.

I couldn't fight them but at least I could outrun them.

And I found I could walk on lava. Not sure if that was intended.

Sorry if this seems obscure but I don't want to give any spoilers.

Ziroc 02-15-2007 07:12 PM

Yeah, you can walk on it in some places..

The Patrol guy needs a lowering of his AC.. Damn he hits hard--240-400 per swing. and death attacks are brutal.

And GUSS DIDN'T ATTACK!!!!!! What the hell is it with all my new henchmen I am making? The last 2 I made all the same way, but they won't attack.. Its gotta be either faction or some bug I am causing... Jaros did the same thing.

Never had that issue before... Hmmm I'll have it all fixed by tomorrow night though!

What did you think of Guss? His story and stuff comes from the actual Novel.

Heeding your advice, I took my best archer (Belaclya) and I agree that one would require a nearly maxed (35+) level charater to solo this place.

I hope to return to meet Terrathigussis again. He was a very interesting character and I enjoyed his dialog.

BTW the statues by the pit remind me of a female warrior that I have seen somewhere before...

Belaclya and Guss examining the statue...

Great work Ziroc!
