I watsed Elminster, Volo, Mystra, Helm and their mothers with only a quarterstaff while still being level 1 and had all my stats at 3...

Well, I once killed The Lady of Pain, an Amnish army and the entire elemental plane of fire with a lvl 1 mage! HA!
