I came across one of the new RATS teleporters while wandering about today.

It was very friendly and told me what item I needed to activate it.

Does anyone know if these items are around yet? I'm assuming that while the current gate to levels 10 to 12 stays open the RATS won't come into operation but I may be wrong.

I'm just laying them down now, the first set of Teleporters will go online tonight! lvl 1 to lvl 3 and lvl 3 to lvl 8

I also saw an erruption of Ettins into Muriel's Gauntlet. That place surely needs a health warning now!

This post is not quite over the expiry date, so I thought I would do a rewording to my request once placed here. Okay, for any and all adventurers, I would like to know roughly where on the various levels the RATS have been placed. As well, I would love to know what the heck RATS stands for. I am going to assume that the TS is Teleportation System, but I don't know what the RA is for?

None have been linked yet. I have just been busy with the patch and now the Hard Drive..

I've been looking forward to this system for many months. And Moz, I guess that RATS stands for Rapid Access Teleport System, or maybe sometimes Random Access Teleport System if Hallaster is in the house and feeling mischievious.

These teleporters were also in "Eye of the Beholder 1". I am sure you can download the game on an Abandonware site. They will work exactly the same. (And in EOB, the sewers were basically Undermountain). So its canon to Forgotten Realms.

Man, I scoured lvl one tonight looking, and I couldn't find that teleporter anywhere.
