Good day everyone. i'm having a bit of a problem with my characters in undermountain at the moment... i haven't logged on in a while and for some reason none of my old chars are working properly, i.e my palemaster is only a floating pair of arms, and my arcane archer has no bow but is still able to shoot arrows. the game also crashes every time i try and use a shop. is this a general problem with the CEP and the 1.67 patch? Another thing, it seems to reckon all my characters are fighter lvl 1, which is weird.

That is strange, as all my characters were working up until 1:30am today. Let me log in and see what happens...

Seems to be working fine now. Did you try logging in a few times with your different characters?

yup, i even tried creating a new one but the shops still caused the game to crash... i've spent the last hour or so trying to figure out wether the problems at my end or the server

Check your ram. I've seen something along these lines before, and check your video settings, when in doubt, run the configuration program in NWN's it will automatically detect the best settings. However, the one time I remember that problem with the stores crashing, it was a defective ram chip. If you have recently moved your pc, it's possible that you have jiggled a chip loose as well. Seems unlikely, I know, but that has been a problem in the past.

No problems here. you may have a corrupt hak. If you can, re-download CEP and/or the EFU haks. The missing things sounds like that, or as Rob said, a video card/driver issue.

I haven't the few times I've actually managed to play for a while. The only thing I've noticed is that the colors seem different, but as this is an issue in SP, and in a couple of servers, it may just be client side.
