First, let me say "DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE BETA PATCH from Bioware" I am only testing their beta patch on a secondary machine, not the server.

I'm doing some checking, so I don't have to release a patch of my own . This new patch is surprisingly large! 25mb-ish. Cool huh? Anyway, I am comparing changes and such now.. Haven't seen anything yet that is conflicting, so this is good news...

Just wanted to say that the Hakpak WILL BE released THIS Month. (damn it). :D No more delays. Just finishing Durnans Tavern (what it looks like outside), and I'll be done. WEE!

Wooo nice Work Z.

Im almost finished GW on all my characters so I could use some EfU action while waiting on the 2nd chapter of GW.

Ziroc 03-05-2006 08:37 PM

You put GW before EFU?! Ya traitor! ;) hehe

Hmm, there are some hairy changes in the tileset TCN (the city tileset). It adds tons of new tiles, so I will have to move my new tiles to the end.

The doors too have some changes, which is a pain, because you have to go through the tileset door calls, and update the new number entry. bah. Not a big deal.. one days work, but LOADS of cool new placeables and Sahuagin!!!!

Should be cool, along with the massive hakpak, eh? I do miss seeing you ingame Tim. wish you'd come back I'm sure ya will when the new hak is out!

Update: other tileset changes:

Tilesets: TCN, TIC, TDE, TID, TTD, TTI, TTR, TTS

Check pegleg adds and the bows..

And VFX! the 2da

Also..... the color pallete for armor, skin, hair ect is TWICE as large now. TONS of new colors to chose from! WOW!

I still pop into EfU from time to time. I've been everywhere there is to go so I am hungary for some new content!!!!!

Ziroc 03-05-2006 11:07 PM

I know, me too. Can't WAIT to use this load of new goodies... MAN it'll be awesome!

robertthebard 03-06-2006 12:15 AM

Sounds like it's going to be great. Peg legs, hmm? Got some ideas for that already.

Mozenwrathe 03-06-2006 02:55 AM

If you can't take them off and beat a stingy elven bard to death with them, those peglegs are as useless (to my various elf-hating characters) as those stools are. Nailed to the floor, bah! Give me something to throw and cause a barfight, that's what I want.

Well, I wouldn't mind some of those new stores opening as well. Elaith's, that one temple in the north area of Waterdeep, one mage shop on the east side of the city, and that one weapons' shop... *growls at them always being closed despite the sheer terrible quantities of gold I am carrying on me.*

robertthebard 03-06-2006 10:25 AM

Actually, the weapon shop is open. It's the armor shop that gives me fits. I really want in there...

Sir Anthony Proudheart 03-07-2006 07:25 PM

Keep the faith,my brothers! Sir Anthony Proudheart has been waiting in the wings until the new Hak is done. I have been working on the offline version of NWN in the meantime. Due to 3 kids, a wife, a rambunctious dog, and a mortgage payment, I am always about a year behind all the latest games. Madden 2005 in 2006, etc. It's great on the pocketbook but lousy for comraderie since everyone has moved on to something else.
Z, do not fear the empty concert hall. The fans are lined up for 10 city blocks outside, but the doors haven't been opened yet by the staff! Stay true to your dream and we'll join you in the Mountain for some spell-slinging and sword wielding action soon! I am halfway through the original novel and can't wait to see all the bits that you have incorporated into your domain.

Waiting patiently with hushed expectations,
