ive downloaded all the patches and the hak packs and all that rot but when i attempt to log into the server the following file cannot be found:

arnaden_cepv2.tlk

i get up to the point where i can create a character or select one already made but when i click play that comes up.

Ive searched for the file and its on my pc but im not sure why the game cannot find it. ive put it in the patch file and the hak file but maybe ive still got the wrong one. does some one know what i can do to get it working.

you need to add it to the .tlk files. Think you can do that in the main program directory.

move the tlk file to the tlk dir in the NWN dir. [img]smile.gif[/img] Let me know when you get in!

well i managed to replace the file and the notice isnt coming up about that anymore instead its the following.

ceptexture.hak
cepportraight.hak
cepplace.hak
cepcreature.hak
cepbaseitem.hak
cepanatomy.hak

i would of thought these would have been with the cep download which i have but they are not on my computer. again help needed.

When you downloaded cep, where did you download it to, and did you run the cep installer?

yeh i downloaded it to my nwn directory and ran the installer a number of times when it didnt work. i also ran the uninstall and tried to install it again and the files just are not on my hard drive. the problem is even if i get these files more might not be found afterwards... i was looking forward to playing today lol. one of lifes little hiccups.

Looking at the list of missing Haks, it seems that little if anything of CEP has downloaded.

Are you trying to download from NWN Bioware? If so, then try downloading from a different site. I've had similar trouble before so it may be worth a shot.

And if the CEP does download, check that you have the files you need there and back them up or transfer them to the NWN hak and talk files manually. Tedious I know but at least it makes sure you don't lose them if the CEP installer isn't working.
