It's my favorite class in BGII, and back when I played BGI Sorcerer wasn't an option.
How can I play a low level sorcerer in this game? |
I believe there is a downloadable doo-dah which allows you to play bg1 with bg2s worky bits. Whether or not this will solve your problem, I don't know.

Check the mods list in the SoA forum... I believe it's BGT.

That's a problem for me. I'm going to put BGI on a realy old laptop that was a gift for me.
I don't have the stats in front of me, but I'm quite sure BGII isn't a possibility for this computer, and I know you need both games installed for BGT to work. |
The older versions of bgt (i.e Mark I) don't require both games installed, but the requirements aren't much different from bg1. Just try it, you may be pleasantly surprised. Also, if it does work and you do get bgt and you need a hand, just give me a pm, I have installed it more times than I have wished, and know the procedure well. You can also find related info in the bg2 section of the board. (A quick search will turn all you need up for you)
Hope this helps |
Out of curiousity, where would one download BGT (both versions)? I'd like to check it out for myself.
Also, I once played a wizard through BGI, and recreated him in BGII, changing his stats with shadowkeeper afterwards. |
You might consider using Tutu. This ports BG1 to the BG2 engine. It's less than 1MB download as it just extracts the resources you need from your BG1 and BG2 installs, and has a pretty decent range of other mods available.
