Hello all,

I've wanted to try out a PW and have decided to give EFU a go.
Being new to NWN in general, I've been playing with some character builds and wanted to ask a 'rules' question. I searched through the faq and rules, but did not find my answer.

Does this PW limit 'types' of multiclass builds to conform to RP styles of play?

Meaning, is taking 1 level in a class allowed for tweaked builds and things like that. Alignment changes... and what not.

Personally, I have a lot of CRPG experience, but not D&D rules and unfortunatly no RP experience. I'm a 'bit' of a powergamer, but nothing over the top. I have no interest in PvP, pickpocketing or any type of griefing.

Firstly, welcome to the forums!

EfU isn't a persistant world in the strictest sense - the server is reset when everybody leaves for example as a way to reduce lag and renew quests. Your character though is saved, along with equipment and quest items etc.

There are no limits on your character build whatsoever - if the game will let you do it then feel free There are many people on EfU who will build characters to test the boundaries of performance, but equally many others who will pick roleplaying stats and classes.

As it's server vault, nobody is allowed to import ridiculously overpowered characters from their own computer, but beyond that restriction you are free to do what you like

As for being a bit of a powergamer, don't worry. There's a certain sense in which powergaming is an advantage because EfU can get so difficult so I don't think you're alone!

PvP is turned off except for clearly designated arenas so you don't need to worry about being on the receiving end of any grief either

If you fancied trying a bit of roleplaying then do either shout ingame, or post a message on here as there are others who might be glad to join you.

Enjoy your time in EfU!
