I'm having a small technical problem. I've been running the game in window mode, which has been fine. The other day I decided I wanted to try full-screen again, so I changed that setting. The second I did, the game minimized itself and went back to the desktop. Every time I try and open the game now, the screen goes black for a second, then it goes back to windows. It seems like it's trying to display it full-screen, but can't. Does anyone know how I can change it back to window mode from outside the game? Because I can't get into it to change the option back. If this is all too confusing, just ignore my post, but if you have any idea, please do help me out. Thanks a lot. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Go into start->program files->Bg and then go to bgconfig. You can access it from there.

How goes the search engine btw?

The search engine is sold. I had to raise money in order to buy my new car, so I flogged it for $600 on eBay. I got back more than I put in, so I can't complain. Times change. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Anyways. You don't need a command line.

Go to start-->programs-->blackisle-->bg1-->bgconfig

then click on display which is in the graphics tab. Then you'l see the option windowed or full screen. Select what you want and thats you.

I think that's only in BG II, because there isn't a display tab in BGconfig. There's only "options" "keyboard shortcuts" "priest spell shortcuts" and "wizard spell shortcuts." I'm pretty sure that there's a line I could add or edit in baldur.ini but again, I don't know what to do. :(

Okay sorry. I don't currently have bg1 installed on its own (only with bgt) so Il check for you and get back to you tomorow.
