Hi,

Long time reader, first time poster.

I have just started EFU and I have a few questions.(warrior type)

1. Are there any newbie quests in and around the starting Inn?

2. Is there any point building up persuasion in EFU?

3. I have fully explored the first level from the Inns cellar. The mobs dont seem to attack me anymore. Is this because I am now too high lvl for them?

4. My first character has specialised in the Greatsword. Are there any 'good' ones ( by that I mean is there a good selection of all weapons to be had or is it better to specialise in a specific weapon type)?

I apologise if these have been answered elsewhere. I have only recently bought/played NWN. My only other experience in online gaming is EQ

Check with the cook in the Inn for a small fetching quest. I don't know of any other quests right in the Inn, myself, but maybe someone else can help with that and your other questions. [img]smile.gif[/img] Welcome to the Undermountain! [img]graemlins/balloons.gif[/img]


Oh there are a lot of varied weapons available and some very good ones too. Most of the really hot ones are on the lower, tougher levels, though. Still, for whatever level you're on and for wherever your pc might be in the leveling up process, you'll find good loot! :D

Greatswords are good. You will need to balance hitting power against armour and shield protection as you go through Undermountain.

If you want to go outside the Inn to the waterdeep docks and check the shop there, look first at the thread in this forum on the Black Blade of Disaster.

There are a few good greatswords in Undermountain. The best being in the hands of a Half Dragon Lord on level 13.

For quests in the inn there are a few

1. The cooks quest
2. Cleaning out the cellar
3. Finding Krungs Boots.

For other low level areas check out the tradeway outside of Waterdeep. Or you can go down the well to the 1st level of Undermountain.

Welcome Huwge, well I use combos sword/shield for there some great items in that tavern for sale, sometimes Uber folks sell gear there and you can pick up some goodies....I know I did....well seeya around, you can probably find me around the 1st lvl, running around and collecting items from the floor.......
