Oh boy!! Are you all in for it! Lol! I just spend a HARD crash course in Making NWN Custom 3D Models, Items--Icons, and skins for Monsters. I can even make my own placeables now as well. Here are just 2 screenshots of my FIRST try. I always thought the Frost Giant looked kinda crappy (texture wise), and needed to be larger. Same for the Baslisk. Here's 2 screenshots (I have LOADS more um.. MUCH neater haks, but you'll have to wait till you see them in game when I finish this new hakpak I am making. (Should take a Month or two).

I'm using 3DSMax7, and btw, also learned how to make Unreal levels while I was at it. hey, why not! Took 3 days lol! Just good stuff to learn incase I ever feel like making an UT2004 level...

Now that I am done with learning this, I'm BACK to finishing up the Muriel Level, and 3 other special levels I am now finishing up. Should be opening one or more next weekend or around there!!! Should be fun!!

Hey Z,

Those models look AWSOME!

Only problem is you will need to raise the roof on a number of levels to fit those guys in!!!!

Great work!

OMG! EEEEEEEEEEEEEF! My little dwarf, Bubbles, is going to positively disappear next to those monsters! LOL!

That frost giant is amazing, Z! LOVE the belt effects too! Really nice!

BTW, the Muriel level... whoa... that's one TOUGH area! And amazingly fiendish traps! *snicker*

You think your dwarf is going to look small wait till I stand my Brownie Narwen next to him!

Also now you can enlarge your dragons, and oh oh oh make choc the sixe of a dragon and then use him as your DM avatar!!! LOL

I took a kitten model and actually brought in an image of Choc's head, and UV mapped it on the model! it looks awesome. I'll enlarge him a tiny bit so you can see him. (I'm using the high-res TGA textures 512x512 and then the DDS mipmaping ones for weaker video cards.

It's SO easy now that I know what tags and settings needed to be done, and I've been into 3D Modeling since 1995, so it made learning max much easier.

Very cool, Z. I always thought the giants were a bit small myself. Can you do the same to dragons too? That would be awesome.
