Hi all. I'm almost positive I've been inside the tower on level 8 before, but in my recent wanderings I have not been able to figure out the secret to getting in. If there is a key I can't find it, and I have wandered all over level 8 and killed every single hostile creature I encountered. Maybe it's behind that locked door I can't get through in the tree stump? Maybe I need to make nice with the Balor in the tree stump? Or maybe it's just that I need a thief with me to pick the lock (my dwarven defender has stubby fingers :D )? A hint would be really great. Have mercy.

You just need lockpicking skills.

All you need is a single point in Lock pick ( so it will cost you 2 skill points as a cross class skill)

You should be able to pick quite a few locks with the help of lock picking kits.

Haha. If only I had known that one level ago. :D

Oh well. I've been meaning to start a new character anyway.
